Terms of Service

Last updated: May 12, 2026 (revised May 12, 2026 to add accessibility statement)

What this covers

These terms govern your use of the Fundable Chicago 2026 personalized funding report service, including the request form on this site and the resulting PDF report delivered to your inbox. The service is operated by Project Baseline on behalf of K-Nation Group, host of Fundable Chicago 2026 (May 14, 2026, Kennedy-King College).

By submitting the form, you accept these terms.

The report is free. No payment, no commitment.

The personalized funding report is a free offering. There is no cost, no subscription, no auto-billing, no follow-up sales sequence. You give us your organization's information, we give you a report. That is the entire transaction.

If you choose to engage Project Baseline for paid services later, that is a separate agreement.

What the report is, and is not

What it is: a personalized, AI-generated funding analysis built from the information you submit. It includes matched grant opportunities, a story hook draft, a 30-day action plan, a readiness assessment, and references to publicly available funding resources.

What it is not:

The report should be treated as a starting point. Verify deadlines, eligibility criteria, and application requirements directly with each funder before you apply.

Accuracy and limitations

The report is generated by an AI model trained on a wide corpus of nonprofit funding information. It is accurate enough to be useful and specific enough to act on, but it is not infallible. Funder priorities change. Deadlines shift. Award amounts vary. Specific funders mentioned may or may not be actively accepting applications in your category.

We do our best to ensure recommendations are real and plausible, but we do not warrant that every funder or grant program named is currently open, available, or a guaranteed match. Verify everything directly with the source.

Acceptable use

You agree to use the form and the report for legitimate nonprofit research purposes. You agree not to:

Intellectual property

The report content is generated for your organization and you are free to use it for your fundraising activities, including pasting story hook language into grant applications, sharing the report with your board, and adapting the action plan internally.

The Fundable Chicago name, the K-Nation Group name, the Project Baseline name, and associated logos belong to their respective owners. You do not acquire any rights to those marks by receiving a report.

No warranty

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or produce specific funding outcomes. We do not warrant that any funder mentioned in your report will respond to or fund your organization. Funding outcomes depend on many factors outside the report's scope, including the quality of your application, the funder's priorities at the time, and the competitive landscape.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Project Baseline, K-Nation Group, Fundable Chicago, and their respective principals are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from your use of the report. This includes lost funding opportunities, time spent applying to mismatched grants, or business decisions made based on report content. Your responsibility is to verify and act with judgment.

Privacy

How we handle your data is covered in the separate Privacy Policy. The short version: we use your data to generate your report, we email it to you, we do not sell or share it, we do not train AI on it.

Accessibility

Project Baseline is committed to making this service accessible to people with disabilities. We design with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our standard.

What we have built in

If something is not accessible

We want to know. If any part of this service prevents you from using it because of a disability, email [email protected] with the words "Accessibility feedback" in the subject line. We aim to respond within two business days and to remediate verified accessibility barriers within a reasonable timeframe.

Alternative formats

If you cannot use the online form, we will accept your information by phone or email and run the report on your behalf. Call 312-646-9230 or email [email protected] and we will gather the same information conversationally and send your funding map to you in the format that works best for you.

Third-party content

Some content in your generated report references external funder websites, foundation portals, and grant databases. We have no control over the accessibility of those third-party sites. If you encounter an inaccessible funder site, contact that organization directly. We are happy to help you reach a program officer by phone or email if their online form is a barrier.

Ongoing commitment

Accessibility is an ongoing process, not a one-time project. We review this service regularly and welcome feedback from users with disabilities, accessibility professionals, and advocates. This statement was last reviewed on the "Last updated" date above.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we update the "Last updated" date and post the new version. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes are resolved in the state or federal courts of Cook County, Illinois.
